High School Residential Camp 
This camp is led by the Union University Women’s Soccer coaching staff and other collegiate coaches. It is for both field players and goalkeepers. Training sessions, small-sided games, and full-sided games will provide situations that allow campers to apply their full skill sets and knowledge of the game in a highly competitive environment. If you are thinking about playing in college, this camp is a must to help determine your fit and how your play will translate to the college game.

This camp is residential to allow campers to get a better feel of Union-life and be around coaches and Union players.

Lauren Smith

Lauren Smith is currently in her third season on the University of Tennessee at Martin soccer staff in 2026. She was spent the first two seasons as an assistant before being promoted to associate head coach prior to the 2026 campaign.

In her first campaign with the team, Smith helped mentor goalkeeper Mac Titus to a 96-save season which ranked eighth on the single season record list at UT Martin. Titus collected three shutouts in first year as a Skyhawk.

Smith comes to UT Martin following a year as an assistant coach under Steve Voltz at Louisiana Tech. The Bulldogs made a run to the Conference-USA semifinals as Smith directed the goalkeepers.

A native of Glenview, Ill., Smith brings in nine seasons of coaching experience with stops at the University of Pacific (assistant coach), San Juan South Soccer Club (head coach), Morehead State (assistant coach and graduate assistant) and Commonwealth Soccer Club (assistant coach).

As an assistant at Pacific, Smith helped conduct a goalkeeper duo that recorded 105 saves in 2022 campaign with seven wins and only three losses while turning in five clean sheets.

At San Juan South Soccer Club, she directed the Girls 09 club team and helped enhance player insight of tactical game elements. In the 2019 season, the Morehead State Eagles totaled 100 saves with four shutouts. While coaching the Girls 04 club team at Commonwealth Soccer Club, Smith provided specialized training for both male and female goalkeepers of various age groups in the program.

Smith played college soccer for the Nebraska Cornhuskers where she was a six-time member of the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll and garnered Academic All-Big Ten accolades in 2017 and 2018. In 2020 she was named the Student of the Year in the Morehead State University Master’s program.

Smith graduated from Nebraska in 2018 with a degree in Psychology and earned her master’s degree in Arts in Sport Management from Morehead State in 2020.
