Middle School Elite Residential Camp

Our Elite Residential Soccer Camp is designed for experienced female athletes looking to elevate as soccer players. We offer a unique opportunity for players at this age to immerse themselves in an intensive and focused training environment. Campers will be coached by a variety of Collegiate Professional Coaches, honing their skills while enjoying a residential experience. For those preferring a flexible schedule, our commuter option allows you to participate in the high-intensity sessions during the day and return home in the evenings. 

All campers will engage in advanced drills, tactical sessions, and competitive matches. We aim to not only instill advanced soccer skills but also key values such as discipline, teamwork and resilience. Our goal is to provide a camp of personal growth and unforgettable memories as we pave the way for the next generation of soccer stars! If temperatures are too hot or there is rain, we will use the indoor turf room to continue camp. 

 
MIKE KOBYLINSKI

Mike Kobylinski has been the Central head women’s soccer coach since 2011 and is a three-time league coach of the year.

The program’s all-time wins leader at 150-87-31 (.618),  Kobylinski has averaged over 10 wins per fall season. The Dutch have won at least 10 games in nine of the last 14 fall seasons. He is the second longest tenured head coach in the league and one of three league coaches with 150 wins. 

Inheriting a squad that had won only six games in three years, Kobylinski piloted the Dutch to a 10-7-1 record in 2011, the fourth-best turnaround in Division III. 

Kobylinski’s 2016 team set a school record with 15 wins. He piloted Central to a 14-2-3 overall record in 2017 and a school-record winning percentage of .816. The 2017 squad tied for second in the Iowa Conference with a 5-1-2 mark, matching the program’s best finish. It also was the first Dutch team to be ranked in the official NCAA Division III North Regional Rankings, which was used to determine national tournament selection, coming in at No. 8. The team also was ranked as high as No. 6 in the United Soccer Coaches regional poll. His 2021 squad reached No. 7 in the United Soccer coaches regional poll, the second-highest spot in program history and was ranked most recently No. 8 in the 2024 United Soccer coaches regional poll.   Kobylinski's teams have been ranked in the region 9 times in his tenure since 2011.

Under his tutelage, Central players have earned all-conference recognition 29 times. Nineteen of those honorees were on the all-conference first team, including the league's 2013 offensive most valuable player Alayna Bailey which was a first for Central Women's Soccer. Additionally, there have been 15 United Soccer Coaches all-region selections in his tenure.

Central has made the conference tournament in 13 of Kobylinski's 14 fall seasons, earning the No. 2 seed in 2014 and 2017. The Dutch reached the title game in 2014 before losing on the ninth penalty kick and have made the semi-finals in 2012, 2014, 2016, 2024 and 2025.

The program is 88-30-19 (.712) at home during his tenure, winning three of its four home conference tournament games since 2011. Central was unbeaten in home matches during the 2016 and 2017 season and more recently have gone 17-4-5 at home since 2023.

Academically, his teams have received the United Soccer Coaches team academic award 15 times while averaging a 3.44 GPA. Eight players have earned United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-Region honors. In 2018, Elise Askelsen became the program's first CSC Academic All-American. Kobylinski has coached 30 CSC Academic All-District performers.  In 2024-25, the team had a GPA of 3.72 and a 3.85 mark in the spring semester, both program records.

The program has had made four spring break trips to Europe, visiting Netherlands and Germany in 2012, 2015, 2019 and 2023. The trip includes matches against local clubs, attending professional matches and other sightseeing adventures.

A Kalamazoo, Mich. native who played club soccer for Kalamazoo TKO, Kobylinski is a member of the United Soccer Coaches and holds a USSF National ‘D’ License, United Soccer Coaches National Youth Diploma, the United Soccer Coaches Director of Coaching Diploma, and the United Soccer Coaches Premier Diploma.

A 2003 grad, Kobylinski was a four-time all-conference honoree at Central, earning first-team distinction in 2002. He was Central’s MVP in 2000 and 2002 and became the program’s first United Soccer Coaches All-West Region pick when he was a second-team choice in 2002.  As a senior, he helped lead the Dutch to a 16-2-1 record while earning the programs first ever regular season championship.  He was invited to the Info Sport Pro Soccer Combine in 2003 as well as a tryout with the Des Moines Menace.  
 

Ted Flogaites

Dr. Ted Flogaites enters his seventh season at the helm of the Jackson State University soccer program and his 26th season overall at the collegiate level. He journeyed to Jackson in 2019, after previously serving as the head coach at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff in 2018.

In six seasons as coach of the Tigers, Flogaites ranks No. 1 in all-time wins at Jackson State, winning a total of 40 matches. In each of his six seasons, the program has reached postseason play, with the banner season coming in 2022 when the program captured both the SWAC regular season and the SWAC tournament championships, earning an NCAA Tournament berth against the University of Alabama. In that season, the team went 9-1-1 in the conference and 11-8-1 overall and Flogaites was tabbed SWAC Coach of the Year. It was the program’s first  SWAC title in soccer in a decade.

Flogaites set the tone for the Lady Tigers’ soccer program in his inaugural season in 2019, guiding the Blue and White to an 8-12 overall record and 7-3 in Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) play. He coached the team to a seven-game conference winning streak, a six-game, 650-minute shutout win streak, and a No. 1 ranking in all of NCAA collegiate soccer in shots on goal percentage. The Tigers secured their most conference wins in a season since 2016, it was their first time holding an above .500 winning percentage in conference play since the 2015 season, and they registered more SWAC wins in one season than the previous two seasons combined.
Flogaites-coached teams at Jackson State have never finished below .500 against SWAC opponents, going 7-3 in 2019, 4-3 in 2020, 3-3-3 in 2021, 9-1-1 in 2022, 7-3 in 2023, and 2-9-5 in 2024. He has compiled a six-year record at JSU of 40-55-10 in SWAC contests, a winning percentage of .504.

Born in New York, N.Y. and raised in Tenafly, N.J., Flogaites was introduced to soccer as a child, when he began playing the sport at an early age. He says his love for the sport came from his father.

"Soccer was a passion of my father's," says Flogaites, who admits his favorite disc jockey is the world-renowned Dutch DJ Armin Van Buuren. "I always remember being around it as a young kid and I never felt like I was missing out on anything like other sports such as football or basketball because soccer is truly the sport."

Clearly Flogaites, who is fluent in both English and Greek, is no stranger to the game. Some of his impressive accolades are:

Flogaites’ most decorated year to date occurred in 2010 when he was named Brine National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) National Coach of the Year as well as NSCAA/Mondo NAIA National and NSCAA/Adidas Regional Coach of the Year while leading the women's soccer program at Hastings College, a liberal arts college in Hastings, Neb. There, he compiled an overall record of 76-21-9 with a total of 52 shutouts in five seasons. Flogaites, who holds a doctoral degree, coached Hastings to a Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) regular season championship and GPAC Tournament championship in two consecutive seasons – 2010 and 2011.

In 2008, Flogaites led Hastings to a trip to the NAIA National Tournament, and in 2010, his team was NAIA National Tournament runner-up, falling in the NAIA National Championship game.

Earlier in the 2010 NAIA playoff run, the team managed a 3-2 win in penalty kicks (PK's) over Olivet Nazarene University, and as a result, Flogaites led the Lady Broncos to its first win ever in the NAIA National Tournament. The NAIA tourney victory was a first for both Hastings College and the GPAC.

After his time spent at Hastings, Flogaites became head women's soccer coach at Western Illinois University, where he finished second in all-time wins in program history with 28. In 2012, his team went 13-6-0 overall and 5-3 in conference play, resulting in a Summit League Tournament semifinals appearance. Three of his players at Western Illinois were named first-team All-Summit League while three players were selected to the Summit League's All-Academic Team.

Flogaites earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from the University of California, followed by a Master of Science degree from New Jersey City University. In 2014, he earned his Doctor of Education (Ed.D) degree in Sports Management with an emphasis in Sports Marketing from the United States Sports Academy.
